Our team is...

Social Justice Minded

Our research team takes a feminist, intersectional approach to preventing abuse and promoting thriving relationships by recognizing how multiple forms of oppression operate on the interpersonal, community, and cultural levels to perpetuate gender-based violence among young people. Our strengths-based framework recognizes that communities have the knowledge and skills needed to ameliorate social issues.

Youth Participatory

We believe that teens are the experts in their own lives, and they have valuable lived experiences and knowledge to share about how to improve their communities. We value teens' voices and leadership in this work and seek to create mutually beneficial partnerships to promote positive youth development in our communities.
